This is a guide to Munich, including transport, bars, clubs, biergartens, recreation and a whole load of stuff, much of it linked to Toytown Munich, the English language website for Munich, Germany.
Its a work in progress, but worth still worth posting at this point.

Great Post, don_riina.

But we should give all Zoomers the info that your PM includes an absolute Highlight :

The world's highest controllable Internet video camera !

I herewith enclose a link to the english webpage, together with links to other nice features , as follows :
The view from the top!
In the middle of the world-famous Olympic Park in the Bavarian capital of Munich, 220 meters (720 feet) above ground level, you can find two webcams and the world's highest controllable Internet video camera , the t-info TowerCam.

Take control of the video cam or take a look at one of our live webcams updated every 60 seconds. If you like the picture, just send it to your friends as an e-card for free. Enjoy the view!

Control the TowerCam
Do you remember the last time you put some change into a telescope? With the TowerCam, you are only one mouse-click away from getting into the driver's seat. Whether you steer the camera to a particular object of your choice or you just click through the preset list of interesting landmarks - you are in control.
The users waiting in queue are your audience.
**Now with camera control for Macs

Olympic Stadium
What's happening in the legendary arena of world-famous soccer club FC Bayern ? This webcam on Munich's Olympic tower provides you with up-to-the minute views from one of Munich's best known landmarks.
See the Olympic Stadium!

Panoramic View of Munich
Take a look at Bavaria's beautiful capital. On clear days, the Alps seem to be within one's grasp.
See the panoramic view of Munich!
5 min. refresh during daylight

The portal www.t-info.de is a product of t-info GmbH.

Have fun, Uli

Really great post, don_riina.

But if you dont mind, as a local, sitting often in this beautiful cafe, I wanted to inform you and all the other viewers: the location of the discribed webcam is about 100 meters north-east from your post.

The cafecam is close to the 6 big white umbrellas.

Greetings
