Here is my giant file. Yes, there are some dupes. For me it's not about being the first to find them, it's about organizing them all in one place, categorizing them to let people find things more easily.

Since others are posting their fine markers on similar subjects, I'll add mine to the list. It includes subjects like abandonded houses and buildings, mysterious creatures, vanishings, unexplained lights, area 51 (et al), treasure, Da Vinci / Holy Grail, haunted/ghostly/creepy houses and castles, earthworks/earth signs/ stone works/etc...

I think there should be a layer for this kind of stuff, combine all of them into a big, well organized, file. I've seen great posts by greenwood, H21, festershinetop, and others posting similar (and sometimes the same) items....and people are downloading their files by the hundreds! Mysterious, unexplained, esoteric stuff is a popular subject!

The hardest part is the research...I was reading through "Weird, U.S." and other books about lost treasures, ancient mysteries, etc...in an attempt to find these places and plot them. Fortunately many have been plotted already and posted here, but there are hundreds (maybe thousands) that haven't been!

I should mention that this isn't really finished. It's a work in progress, and I'd like to re-upload it occasionally as I add to it.

Be nice if others and myself could combine our similar lists, make one big one, maybe a layer of sorts. That way it would be easier to find items if they're all categorized and organized.

Look up the Dover Lights as well. They're in Arkansas. I've seen them and they're quite confusing but cool but wierd to watch.
