Transportation network link.
It automatically connects to popular collections of forum.

Data is refreshing when GE opens. Search feature by Ctrl+F.

Once you download the network link, move it to your "My Places" folder for safe keeping. Then, click on the sign ">" near folder to see what it contains. Click on the folder you want to examine and explore. Double click on the placemarks to get a close-up view of these planes.

The purpose of this assembling - to present more authors collections as one actual database. I wish, that in this database the personalities of the authors would be better visible as possible.

I want to see your wishes about the connection of other popular forum collections.

To the collections authors. If is it possible, add Folder "About" to base KMZ and store information about the last version and necessary base references in it. In this case you can change it themselves. Save files as KMZ with minimize and hide all folders. For network links make "Delete contents".

For beginners, see slso "How to use network link"
http://www.mi-perm.ru/gis/earth/present/networklink.htm

Also standart metro icons see

Enjoy

What a great idea, Val. The only problem is I won't be able to use it myself!
Can I have some feedback on this from users? If it works well, then I'll put a link to your post in the sticky thread at the top of the Transport forum.

Thanks!

Cheers

Frank

Something like that would be great. The way it is now there is no way to get to the original finders post. The aircraft in flight file overrides it on the bbs layer. Some of us have been going through the image updates looking for planes that disappeared with the new pix, but cant get to them. To be able to toggle that thread on/off would help alot.

Yes. Network Link not for edit. You very nevertheless should hold the static link.
It is possible to try. Always it is possible to refuse, if it will be bad.
I can with this work further, you also.
