Currently, Google Earth does not show you the locations of subway stations around the world. If, for example, you're in Sydney, Australia, and planning a trip to Paris, France, you would find it very useful to know just how far away the nearest Mtro station is from the hotel you booked.
Well, what better way to find out than to ask someone who knows?
Together, as a community, you guys constitute an incredibly knowledgable, enthusiastic resource for exactly this kind of information. So we'd like to try a little experiment.
Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to map the locations of subway stations for 9 city centers in 4 countries:
GERMANYFRANCESPAINITALYSome of you may relish the thought of doing some detective work. Others amongst you may have local knowledge. So, let's put our collective heads together and get mapping!
There is only one rule here: accuracy. Let's nail each and every subway station in these countries. Feel free to check each other's work, offer corrections, and provide missing locations.
