The one at the Pima County Museum isn't flagged in that file.

You are correct, BobInNC, and thanks . That one was included previously and it somehow missed inclusion in the latest revision of the folder. The folder has been revised to include it again. With as rare as they are, we sure don't want any left out.

I was working at KFCM airort the day Beechcraft landed a Starship in 1987 I believe. This was the Maiden trip around the US to promote the aircraft at all its Beechcraft FBO's. Could have been 1988 but they have been flying a long time.

Unfortunately, newer imagery has shown this plane to have disappeared from Salt Lake City.

The Beechcraft Starship is a futuristic-looking aircraft designed by Burt Rutan's Scaled Composites and produced by the Beech Aircraft Corporation. It is a six- to eight-seat business transport. Wikipedia

Thanks for the kmz for Starship NC19 at Salt Lake Community College. I have the right engine from this aircraft on my Epic LT, was looking for the Starship.

It looks like the image was acquired April 28, 2007. Imagery is not sharp enough to tell if the plane still has its engines at that time.

Sorry, I updated the placemark folder, but didn't update the post. They are gone. I just updated the post you are responding to.
