hi
great job on the administrative units. however, some of the province borders in VietNam are a bit out of date (we now have 64 instead of 61 provinces). the province borders keep on shifting every 5 years or so, so good luck with keeping the information up to date!

Is it possible to change images/blurcountries.png so that you can apply your own colour codes to the countries?

Thanks for the info!

This is almost what I was looking for. I would like to use a low transparency to have major landmarks shine through. However, setting the transparency to 1 gives me a black polygon instead an almost transparent one. Where did I go wrong?

Is there any chance to edit the blurcountries.png you used as an overlay? I could simply replace the colours and transparency works fine with the overlay.

You can edit raster image in editor (Photoshop etc).
It is not very fast. Need select by color and fill.

I used ArcGIS and KMLer and generated raster (png) from vector.
