According to your profile you registered with Google Earth on 01/25/06 07:35 AM.

Sergiol posted his placemark 12/10/05 11:01 AM. So unless you are Doc Brown with a Delorien I believe he beat you to the punch.

Even more telling is that SergioL made his post back on December 10 of 2005, which also predates any appearances of the reports in papers. There are a lot of January 9th, 2006 entries, but that's the farthest back I can find mention of it.

I haven't been able to respond to this incredibly outrageous claim of jonessw as it's been difficult reading my monitor until I stop shaking my head back and forth...

WHY ARE SO MANY PEOPLE ARGUING ABOUT WHO SPOTTED THIS PLANE FIRST!

IT'S RIDICULOUS.

The fact is: the plane has been spotted on google earth.I think that is obvious enough so we do not need people going on about it.We know its a plane.

Does anybody know why it happened to be there?i hope i have not missed the answer.Trawling through this post would take ages.

Does anybody know where the shadow is?

Hi everybody!
Very interested to see the photo of the Lancaster still flying.
There are many crash sites around the U.K. which cannot be seen from the air.
I have visited two Lancaster crash sites in the Dark Peak. If you are interested visit my website at www.highpeakbob.piczo.com for details and photos. Happy Hunting ! Bob.

Reason being, because the guy made a false claim and put it so rudely.

So we felt the need to put him in his place and expose him to the world!!
