This may have been mentioned already, but it's very odd that this plane has no shadow. Perhaps a function of the seam of that photo being too close by.

I saw this too and also posted the below, I used to live on RAF Wyton and the Lanc comes over mid August every year as below.

Lancaster Bomber in flight over Cambridgeshire, Probably just before doing a fly past in remembrance of the Pathfinder Squadron at RAF Wyton to the east.

When I update the Aircraft in Flight file I never even checked this plane because it was the last area I thought would be updated, since this plane was a 1 in a million find. Very bummed to see this one go to the archive forum.
