Where is the "placemarks.ini" file? I don't have one on my system.

oops. my bad. it's called "myplaces.ini."

i use win2K. on my system it's in:

c:documents and settings\administrator\application data\keyhole\earthviewer 3d pro\

I've inserted the text in my file, but all I get is a bunch of (empty) folders with the names of the cams, instead of clickable links to the cams themselves...

i figured out the problem. the BBS filters the "greater than" and "less than" signs and all characters in between. so the content of my post is missing critical etStruct and etSite markups that tell earthviewer what the content is.

i've copied the content into an .eta file and posted. you will have to download the file, open it, and copy the contents into your myplaces.ini.

soryy for all the trouble folks! this application needs a better way to move folders of placemarks ;-)
