The collection is now updated, with information on all of the grounds. I think I also found the P. Saravanamuttu ground. Many thanks to Up_The_Spurs for the New Zealand placemarks.

This one is West Bretton between Barnsley and Wakefield. They play minor league cricket here. A game can be seen in progress.

Thanks for that one - it's one of the clearest images I've seen. I've added it to the main collection.

Here's another nearby one with a game going on. It's either 7 a side or some of the fielders are hidden! It's in Darton. I think they play in the Pontefract League nowadays.

Thanks again - I've added it to the list. I also noticed this post, which has another match in progress nearby. This area seems to have a lot of cricket action - I imagine it's down to the quality of the photographs.

Quite possibly the images were made on the same day at about the same time. Rotating the Hoylandswaine one to show N at the top, the shadows are pointing in exactly the same direction - just north of east - as at Bretton. They must have caught the weekend games.

There is another one in progress at Cawthorne to the west of Darton. As I'm new to this I haven't yet attached a folder, only single placemarks. I was going to have a try if I could find another three you don't already have!

Nice project you kicked off here.

That sounds quite likely. There are a couple of sites that might be useful in searching:
  • Play-Cricket has many clubs' details. If you find the postcode of the ground, you can just enter it and Google Earth will do the hard work!
  • Cricket History of Calderdale and Kirklees - it's not quite in the same area you were looking in, but it seems to be one of the most detailed collections of clubs around.

I've only really done the teams in ECB Premier Leagues, so there are still thousands more in England alone!

Thanks.

Hello,

I am from Chandigarh-Mohali area. Your location of this ground is wrong. I have physically been to PCA Stadium Mohali. I am attaching herewith the correct location.

Bye

Kirti

Hello

Thanks for that - I've updated it in my collection. I couldn't find any good maps of the area, so the place I marked was a slight guess. It's always good to get better information from someone who knows the area.

Thanks again.
