The San Ysidro Region marker is in the wrong region. San Ysidro, California is 478 miles south of the Los Gatos area, near to San Diego, California.

You made a good work, but something is yet wrong.
The placemark of "Alta Langa DOC" is in a bad place, I think it has to be placed 40-45 kilometers South.
The Albugnano DOC has to be placed were you placed Alta Langa DOC,it's a very small move but Albugnano DOC has a very very small area.
You can see detailed information at http://www.lavinium.com/denom/piemden2.shtml

The area you put the McDowell Valley AVA is actually on my vineyard which is not in that AVA. The McDowell AVA is east on Hwy. 175 at McDowell Valley Ranch Rd. to the south and Buckman Dr. to the north.

Otherwise, great work. I like it.

Hi Hynamgirl

Appreciate your remark, but I think you are wrong. Just check this map: http://www.wrattonbullywineregion.com/page.php?id=18.

It says my marker is right on a Wrattonbully vineyard. According to it, Naracoorte town is also a part of the region.

Thanks anyway.

Thanks guys. It was actually on the wrong place and now I have corrected it. However, it is not in San Ysidro, CA (near San Diego). Instead, it is close to Pacheco Pass and part of the larger Santa Clara Valley AVA.

Unexpected turns in my life have drifted me away from updating and completing this effort in the time frame I would like to. However, I still keep coming here from time to time and as a few free minutes happen, I will use them to move forward.

I fully appreciate all your contributions and try to make this work as accurate as possible. Your participation has been invaluable in calling my attention to some faults that the vastness of the work, necessarily includes.

Please keep coming your suggestions and corrections. I won't make any change without validating them first with a credible source, but by calling my attention to something you feel may be wrong, will lead me to confirm or disprove your correction, which in itself is always a worthy task.

I hope you continue to have fun with this tool.

Regards.

Antonio

Impressive work. A LOT of work. It would be nice to continue to improve the accuracy.

Here are four corrections in Northern California that I noticed while browsing:

Sonoma Mountain 38.353727 -122.542190
Mount Harlan 36.702915 -121.382308
Russian River 38.536061 -122.865613
Cole Ranch 39.136063 -123.502208
