Following on from this posting of the London Underground network, I have updated the network with all the extra stations available in high resolution, which occured during the last big update.

N.B. The file is in KMZ format, so you will need the Google Earth product to view this file.

Slight correction to your post. Several of the Docklands Light Railway stations on the underground network, share names with associated Underground stations, but are several minutes apart.

Your placemark for instance labels Shadwell DLR as Shadwell tube. The correct position of Shadwell Underground station is attached.

Sorry. Just being pedantic.

This is wonderful - thank you very much for providing it - but shouldn't it be in "Transportation" so that people like me who download Google Earth would find it by switching on that group of places rather than "phil verney's discoveries"?

Also is there any chance of getting London and near-London rail stations? Eg Canonbury (my nearest)

And (probably a dumb question) is there any way of doing a search for, say, "Brixton tube station" on your tube map and going directly to it?

I suppose it might fit well in transport, although I'd be reluctant to post it again in there as during the next update of the BBS layer, it would appear twice, clogging London up even further, but I appreciate the thoughts

I'm not aware of a way to search with a file, so I'm unsure how that could be worked. However all the stations are in alphabetical order to help search through it

The attached placemark is the location of the new entrance to Vauxhall underground.

The current database shows this as a large building area. The actual building has an unusually shaped roof covered in Solar Panels - which should make for an interesting sight when the pictures for South London are updated.

Yeah, I can't wait for new London images. The city has gone through so much development in the past couple of years....I quite like the Eagle Wharf penthouse on the other side of the Thames - only �6.5million.

Which part of London are you in? My dad was born and grew up in and around Beckenham
