Mangani ....... Thank you for this huge undertaking, truly incredible task.....this is my second visit to GE, and I was just trying to find my house in Skykomish, Wa when I happened upon a marking......Odd as my husband and I were just talking about Bigfoot last night, the "close calls" we have had and the one sighting I had in 1976....my husband is a hunter, so he is out in the middle of no where often, you know men dont scare easily, in the 20 yrs we have been here he has come home 3 times scared sh*tless, the worst one was he was using an eleltronic predator call, a wounded rabbit, he never did get it all into words, but it was BIG, Close and hungry, and it was NOT a bear, he had rocks thrown at him, big rocks at the mouth of a cave to keep him from going inside, a tree dropped off a ledge into the road infront of him, too far out in the wild for any of them to be a joke...... I will be watching this eagerly......thanks again

Inkaddiction,
Thanks for the feedback. Stay tuned. I am currently adding reports from oregonbigfoot.com. With my next update you will see more report locations from Washington, Oregon and possibly other states as time permits.

http://www.freewebs.com/casr/Reports-BC2/Lemon%20Creek1962.htmI was looking at the lemon creek Glacier trail in Juneau, Alaska when I saw your placemarks. I clicked on it and read the report, googled the whiness name. "*7 Aug. 1962 Lemon Creek nr Nelson John Bringsli Woodsman and hunter, picking huckleberries, suddenly saw 7-9-ft Bigfoot with 4-in gray-blue body hair walking slowly towards him. It seemed curious. At 40 ft, witness sprinted for his car and drove away. " The place mark is on a foot trail, and nowhere neer Nelson. I presume the report is talking about Nelson, BC. since The year before was this post. *Oct. 1961 Kokanee Glacier Park John Bringsli Bigfoot hunter saw apelike creature on trail at night." Please move the place marks closer to the area neer the reports. Some 2000 miles is a vast distance.- http://www.mapquest.com/directions/main....amp;2z=&r=fThank You for caring about accuracy.

Thanks for the correction. It was fixed on my upload of April 6. It may take some time to propagate through the Google Earth servers so it may still be incorrect in the Community Layers for a while.
I remember mapping that one. I searched for Lemon Creek, BC in Google Earth and all it returned was Lemon Creek, AK. So I assumed that the WCSRO site had included an AK sighting under BC. I learned shortly thereafter that there are much better sources for Canadian geographic place name locations, particularly for British Columbia.
Sorry for the error.

This is the first time I have been on Google Earth and was shown your mapings of a sighting along the Terirtorial Rd. in Crow Oregon. I lived on the farm where this map posting shows in the late 50's I would be interested in any information you have on this particular sighting. This farm is a historial area where the indians used to have a camp and then there was a stage coach start with hotel in the 1800's at a later date there was a school. Any information you have would be appreciated. I also lived in the Mount Shasta area where there were many stories of sightings. Kenmar2

Kenmar2, Nearly every one of the sightings I have mapped includes a link to the source of the report. In this case that link is http://www.internationalbigfootsociety.com/html/dsp_report.php?id=185 I have no information beyond that provided on the internet by the research groups whose reports I map.
