hi price!

as i have already mentioned in THIS post, some "fried-egg" like features, i have spotted few weeks ago has been censored so far...

4233'22.50"N, 116 0'3.29"W

what are they?
what should be their "sin"?

...just before i would put them up to GoogleArt...

solution against censoring:
if you find something interesting landscape on GE, save a screenshot!

regards,

g

syzygy,

My response to your censorship assertion is in the original thread. I cannot support your contention and suggest your copied posting in the Data Compendium and this response be deleted.

dear price!

your reply has made me really sad as it seems you do not trust my words...

the GE imagery was similar but even more sharp to the yahoo-maps imagery and the yellow "yolk" was strongly visible few weeks ago just as i said to you.

it is really annoying that i did not take a screenshot to be able to attest i am right...

...some weird things are happening to imagery sometimes i know for sure now even if it does not fits your cathegories.

regards,

g

ps: will put this up even HERE so you can make it also deleted.

It seem that in italian traslation of contry names, French Guyana it has been exchanged with French Polinesia name .. take a look ..
In order French Guyana should be translated in Guyana Francese
and French Polinesia should be translated in Polinesia Francese

The entire Nome Alaska area is covered by a thick layer of clouds. Various parts of the southern Seward pennisula have patchy clouds and shadows but are nowhere near as severe as Nome. I just created this account to find some way to report this problem, so if this is the wrong place to mention it sorry. Hopefully Google can get this fixed in time for the Iditarod .

lp741 and djrwguy,

We appreciate your noting in this BBS thread the Italian country naming problems and the Alaskan cloud cover problem. While we can note these difficulties, the current official reporting channel is described in THIS POSTING.

I continually re-examine the Bosphorus bridges. They have been improved, but please examine the ends of the bridges carefully: they need more work.

    "Close, but no cigar."

I have noticed that the terrain data for certain regions of the french Alps is misaligned with respect to the altitude data: it seems that the terrain data is about 200m too far to the west for the imagery. I'm sorry that I don't have GPS coordinates to fix which one is out of place.

    (edited for more examples)

Lexis-Nexis searches leads me to believe this area is being prospected, for diamonds...

I can't find anything else on Wager Bay over the past 20 years besides the new National Park created there...

the area is possibly being censored for a more nefarious reason than military or intelligence... profit.
