Hi Everyone

Here are the stops for the 2nd episode of "The Amazing Race 9" which aired March 7, 2006. The placemark folder contains details of each stop.

Teams traveled from Sao Paulo, Brasil to the small town of 150 miles away, called Brotas. Tasks & activities included climbing to the roof of a building in Sao Paulo and rappelling back down, scaling a waterfall and processing raw sugar cane into juice.

The "hippies", BJ & Tyler, came out on top and won a trip to Taihiti, and the "Screeching Glamazons", Lisa & Joni were eliminated.



It was a little more difficult this time, but it worked out ok with the help of JamesyWamesy. Kudos it him.

Hello People

Here are the stops for the 3rd episode of "The Amazing Race 9" which aired March 14, 2006. The placemark folder contains details of each stop.

Teams traveled from Brotas, Brasil to Moscow, Russia. Tasks & activities included a zipline across a valley, jumping off a 10 metre platform into water, scrubbing clean an entire tolleybus, and the ever frustrating task of searching 1,500 multi-piece Russian nesting dolls in order to find one of 10 microscopic clues.

The big suprise was that is was a "super leg" and the first team to arrive, the "Hormones", were given a clue by Phil instead of a prize.

Hi All

Here are the stops for the 4th episode of "The Amazing Race 9" which aired March 21, 2006. The placemark folder contains details of each stop.

Teams traveled from Moscow, Russia to Frankfurt, Germany then by train to Stuttgart. Once there, they had to find the Mercedes Benz headquarters and take a very exciting ride. They then drove themselves to the small town of Bad Tolz and searched for hidden gnomes. Once a gnome was found they raced off to Munich where they slapped and smashed their way through a detour before heading to the pitstop.

Team Hormone once again rode their luck all the way to the pitstop to finish first and the very disorientated Desiree & Wanda were unfortunately eliminated.

The new updates for Germany could not have come at a more perfect time!

G'day Everybody

Here are the stops for the 5th episode of "The Amazing Race 9" which aired March 28, 2006. The placemark folder contains details of each stop.

Teams traveled from Munich, Germany to the beatiiful town of Palermo, Italy and found an ancient theatre. They then drove themselves to the small town of Castellammare del Golfo where they encountered a detour, choosing between (a) searching among a bazillion pieces of laundry to find one of 16 items of clothing marked with a red and yellow tag or (b) moving a 110-pound church bell between locations. Teams then drove to Segesta and built statues before heading to the pitstop.

Fruitcake Lake & his missus found it in ther heart to yield the lovely Double D's, ultimately causing them to be eliminated. What will Team Hormone do now?? No more free nookie. We might just have to hear them whinging all the way to the next pitstop....
