OK, so it's not really the center of the universe, but the absolute dearth of places featured seemed unfair. Here's a whole lot of places in Pretoria, just some of my favourites. Feel free to correct me if you spot something I missed.

Please correct the spelling of "Versveld" (it should be "Versfeld"). When you create placemarks that the rest of the planet sees, take the trouble to get the spelling right, otherwise the whole thing deteriorates.

I'm reposting my photos of Austin Roberts bird hide / reserve and Hartebeespoort Dam. I think the original post was to one of the 'dynamic' forums and was then deleted.

I've created placemarks that links to each of the 97 cities / towns for which Weather SA maintains online weather forcasts. Normally you receive a 2 day forecast. After you register and login, you receive a 7 day forecast.

This file contains a placemark for 470 towns and cities. Each placemark contains links to the relevant route information, street level maps and topological maps. There are also links to the 3 major search engines.

Some town names (like frankfort) occur in more than one province. I've removed the cases where routes.co.za have confused the to : frankfort, leeugamka, belfast, burgersdorp, bethlehem, kranskop, balfour, brandvlei, brits.
