With the opening of the new Jane Austen bio-flick, I thought I�d go back to your post for another read. Like the books themselves, it just gets better each time you read it, and (unless I�m mistaken) there�s now a lot more hi-res imagery than the last time I had a look.

This layer has been substantially revised. It now include places associated with Sanditon, Jane Austen's last unfinished novel; locations have been added for all of the other novels as well as for Austen's life, and content in the existing placemarks has been expanded. Filming locations for another 8 adaptations have been added including 3 of 4 new films released at the end of 2007.

In total, the layer includes 75 new placemarks (for a total of ~240) along with revised placemark presentation.

Hi Lucia - what a lovely job. Having been to Jane's Chawton home not long ago, I thought you should know that your placemark is a bit off. it should be a further 275 yards south along the road and on the other side. The house sites at a 3-way intersection with a lovely little tea-room named after her sister Cassandra on the other side of the street just near the car park.
