Has anyone noticed that GE4 can now both cut and paste KML to/from the clipboard? Very useful debugging tool.

YES !

1. Select placemark, folder etc
2. Copy to clipboard (Ctrl+C, Ctrl+X)
3. Paste into Notepad or other text editor (Ctrl+V)
4. Change KML text. You can use Search+Replace, Undo etc commands.
5. Select text and copy to clipboard. You can select part of text, if it correct KML
<folder>...</folder>, <document>...</document> etc. If you copy KML with error, then it is simple not pasted.
6. Paste into GE. Enjoy!

A useful feature that will accelerate all of us.
I wish there be an additional command to copy it as a kml as if it is saved by GE that corrects/optimizes the placemark.

ctrl-delete = copy
shift-delete = cut
shift-insert = paste

I have been using these keys since about DOS 2.x. They are much faster and easier than ctrl x,c, and v....

I've noticed that.

It would be great if you add theese useful things:

1. A hotkey to copy curerent cursor coordinates to clipboard. (Or maybe there is other way to get them wthout creating a placemark?)

2. A hotkey to paste placemark from clipboard to the center of the current view. (Or add "Center placemark in view" to the context menu.)
