This is simply a region with no overlapping coverage to stich together. For the opposite phenomenon see the link below.

http://bbs.keyhole.com/ubb/showthreaded.php/Cat/0/Number/208909/

Here the image overlap, but are incorrectly sitched so the buildings come out as duplicated in the image.

BYWY This IS a high clearance government installation in Oak Ridge Tennessee.

It's probably a gap between map layers.

I found one too, pointer is 39.29.39.72 n 74.22.06.70 w
Its a black spot covering what looks like an island. Pure black little square. Has anyone checked with google to ask about security problems? Area 51 is posted in here, so maybe its just a mirrored solar array or something that has screwed with the picture. I dont know, just throwing something else out there.

That blac spot is abt 27 mile long and 3 miles wide and seems to be masking something below it.
It crosses Alaska border into Canada.

I can't help but notice that plazma's two links have since been made empty. Coincidence or cover up? Plus, that strip has always been covered up, in 99% of imagery. You can't just accidentally miss 81 square miles! What's up there?

I think this is where the HAARP is located, it doesn't show up in the coordinates given in the book "Angels don't play this HAARP"
