I would like to create polygons of the provinces of China, or an overlay that shows them. Any thoughts?

I think that Valery35 might have already done an overlay with that information. I will look and see if I can find it. If you have GML data, I can try and convert it for you.

I looked at the files again, and it could be perceived that New Zealand is part of Australia. The geographic region is listed as Australia in the CIA Factbook. I will change that with the next update.

Wow! Yes, that's almost exactly what I'm looking for. Do you happen to know of one that has USA State Boundaries as well?

Attached is an updated version of this file. I fixed the urls so that the links to the CIA World Factbook work again. Also, I "borrowed" the country name overlays from the work Valery35 did (referenced in the first post) and combined the whole thing together.

Lastly I added a network link so you can also overlay the locations of all the Worlds Capitals on the map ( Borrowed From Here)
