This is a little bit of work we've been doing internally, attempting to use google earth to improve visualisations of our internal systems. We've put it live to the world so please have a look and let me know your thoughts.
What the link shows is lines showing a selection of flights that we've just sold across all of our lastminute.com sites. It takes a random slice of recently sold data, plots the routes from airport to airport, and makes lines for more recently-sold flights thicker (so you can see a kind of flight-buying zeitgeist). The link should update every minute so the data ticks round fairly swiftly.
