Pitcairn Island is home of the decendents of Fletcher Christian
and the other mutineers from the HMS Bounty. As of October 12th, 2004 the male decendents including Mr. Christians
decendents are on trial for rape. The charges involve the
12 and 13 year old females whom are forced to marry.
This island is still at the 1790 developmental stage in which
it started with the original mutiny. Some of the females
have fled to England to tell the strange and troubling
story. The attachment shows the location of this island.

Dennis Christian , 49 years young, pleads guilty to charges
of rape, via- video transmission to New Zealand's
British magistrate. Dennis Christian is of course the direct
decendant of Fletcher Christian who was the main instigater
of the mutiny against Captain Bligh which resulted in the take
over of "Her Majesty's Ship" the Bounty. This ship was "raped" by Fletcher Christian and I guess the apple
does not fall far from that tree. There is more irony here than in a Pittsburgh steel factory. Pitcairn Island is in the "Plunder
Island" chain of environmentally "raped" islands including the
famous T.V. island Vanuatu from "Survivor Island". These Islands are being mined for lumber , gem stones and oil.
The people of Pitcairn Island do not allow Tobacco or Alcohol
in order to keep their hypocrisy in check. No wonder they ended up in the shape they are in. So I can only imagine the
day when British authorities knocked on Dennis Christians
door and said, " Mr. Christian! Mr. Christian, Get out here!"....
nothing like the old verbage from Captain Bligh catching up to the latest coward of the crew. "Irony Island" I think.

BBC.com Six men found guilty of child rape and indecent assault on the remote Pacific island of Pitcairn have failed in their appeals against conviction.

The convicted men are:


Steve Christian, who claimed to be a direct descendant of Bounty mutineer leader Fletcher Christian. He was convicted of five rapes and cleared of four indecent assaults and one rape. He was sentenced to three years jail

His son, Randy Christian, who faced five counts of rape and 10 of indecent assault and was found guilty of four counts of rape and five of indecent assault. He was sentenced to six years in jail

Len Brown, 78, who was convicted of two rapes and was sentenced to two years jail

His son Dave Brown, who faced 14 counts of indecent assault and two of gross indecency and was found guilty of six charges of indecent assault and pleaded guilty to three others. He was sentenced to community service

Terry Young, who was convicted of one rape and six indecent assaults but was cleared of one indecent assault charge. He was sentenced to five years jail

Dennis Christian, who had previously entered guilty pleas to three counts of indecent assault, and was sentenced to community service.
