Camp Whitsett; a Boy Scout camp in the Giant Sequoia National Forest, California. First used by the Boy Scouts in 1947, it has over 60 successful summers under its belt, and is currently run by the Western Los Angeles County Council.
The nearby body of water is Ida Lake, named after the wife of W.P. Whitsett, the namesake of the camp, who first proposed that the Scouts acquire a lease on the land.
