Zak,

Your overlay image is missing. One of the tricks with overlays is that to share them, you have to put the image on a publicly available web server somewhere since it is referenced indirectly.

I don't know if it's the AOL 9.0 media blitzkrieg or what, but I'm seeing this guy everywhere these days!

I think your mind may be playing tricks on you. I can see walking men everywhere, with enough imagination, but I don't see any striking example in your placemark. Is it supposed to take up the whole scene? Is it in the center? Is it facing right or left? Please help. Maybe an overlay would help, if you can supply one.

It is a bit hard to see, but in the "shadows" (darker dust?), I definitely see an AOL-ish walking man.

Alan, just to check... are you looking on Mars or Earth? Right now there's no way for a placemark to tell the viewer which one to load.

Here's the Walking Man isolated, on Mars, Charlie Brown head and all.

This forum is for placemarks that are on Mars. You must have already configured your (new) NV viewer to look at Mars or these placemarks will send you to some random places on Earth :-).

Enjoy.

Addendum: now that we've launched Google Earth, many people are asking about Mars in Google Earth. At this time, the (single) server hosting the Mars database can't accomodate any more users than our historical Keyhole NV and Keyhole 2 NV users. When those existing NV users upgrade to Google Earth Plus, they'll still be able to see Mars, but everyone else will not. We hope to make this database available to more people in the future.
