Found a great picture of the village with St Peter's Church Tower in the background.  The statue is Lord John Douglas Montagu Scott (1809-1860). At Christmas and Easter someone decorates the statue as a famous person. When England won the Rugby World cup the Statue was Martin Johnson - the English Captain. Martin Johnson It has also been Bob the Builder Bob the Builder It was Darth Maul at one point. Darth Maul And Shrek Shrek Beno EDITED: 18 April 2006 & 4 June 2007 to replace a missing images

http://www.dunchurchsportsandvhall.co.uk This is a great facility for our village  BenoPS We had a party here to celebrate the Christening of the youngest Beno in 2004- it was great.
