I am trying to collect prison placemarks.
As of today, I just looked up the prison placemarks on the BBS, organized them in folders for continents, subfolders for countries and, for the US, in sub-sub folders for states. Then I set the eye-altitude for all of them to 1000 m to make comparison of the sizes of the prisons easier.
I also added a little bit of my own.
There is still much work to do but I posted it now to give anyone interested a chance to participate.
I plan this to be a work in progress. So anyone who has placemarks for prisons, please post them to this thread and I will update the KMZ file and edit it in this post. Especially prisons in South and Central America, Asia, Africa and Europe.
Some useful links to official prison homepages and background informations would be fine too. I will put the links into the descriptions.
If you find any errors, please tell me.
