Wow, what a beautiful airplane. I flew props (C-130) and Jets (C-5 and T-43) but never an aircraft with both. It looks like a pretty strange mixture of technology.

"Six turnin' and four burnin'" was an interesting product of the times the plane was produced in.
"Aluminum Overcast" was another apt nickname for it.

This B-36 was at Chanute AFB, IL when I was attending tech school there in 1960.
