This maybe the wrong forum, but im a newbie and i hope thats a good enough excuse. Im trying to list my business address, location, and anyother useful information pertaining to my business on google earth.Where do i start and what do i do ?

No one seems to talk much about this but in Google Earth...
go to Help in the menu bar.
click Add or Edit a Business Listing.

You can also make a place mark and post it in here(in the proper forum).
Make it interesting with pics and links and use keywords for search.

It doesn't have to be approved (although it's possible to get taken off if it's inappropriate, i.e. has profanities or porn ). Just make sure you post it in the Business Locations forum. And, I agree with echodawg's advice - make it interesting, not just, "Here's my business."

As per echodawg above , go to "Help" in the top Google Earth menu bar, and drag down to "Add/edit a business listing" That will take you to the Google Maps registration page. Follow the steps to list your business and thereby make it searchable in both Google Earth and Google Maps!

It may take a few weeks for Google to "approve" your listing. Your business will receive a postcard from Google which will provide a "PIN" number for you to enter on the web page listed on the same postcard. When Google receives your PIN number, the approval process will begin...and end within a few days to a week!

You can also post your business in the "Business forum" here in the "Community" as described in the above posts. However that post will not cause your business to "pop up" as a placemark when the "find business" tab in Google Earth is utilized. Registration as described in the above paragraphs will make this possible.

I followed the instructions and made a listing by making a place mark (I couldn't do it through Google local business as the co. is in Thailand)

Several weeks later if I searched Fly to the place mark would appear.

After seeing it had worked I added 4 or 5 more locations.

These have not been added several weeks later, no problem it may take some time.

What has me wondering is that the initial location seems to have been removed.

Have I done something wrong?

The locations all came under 49 Pharmacy.

You should have received a postcard from Google for each location that you listed in "add/edit a business listing", and you should have returned each postcard.

I cannot explain the loss of your originally successful listing. Please repeat the process for that first listing.

I have checked my email (and trash/junk) and also messages here at GEC but cannot find anything.

In the past, Google has made an effort to verify a business listing by sending a post card to the business address and having the business reply via entering a pin number (supplied by Google on the postcard) at a specified Google web site.

It is possible that they have discontinued this process, but I will have to check! The mailing and processing costs may now be too high!
