firedrop New Poster Registered: 08/08/05 Posts: 1	found this 4 helicopters over finland, any idea what it is? They have 5 rotor blades, so it could be something russian? Maybe some Hinds? psylant World Explorer Registered: 07/23/05 Posts: 367 Loc: Calgary, AB, Canada	My guess would be a Mil Mi-17 Hip, and I think they're stationary at the moment due to the shadows on the ground and the lack of those blue "ghost" shadows that seem to accompany moving aircraft. And I think they are more closer to looking like the MI-17"Hip" than the Hind. With the Hind, you should see some outboard "wings" and the shadows don't reveal that. However, it is not as clear a shot so I am just guessing. Their home base is Utti Jaeger Regiment, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Utti_Jaeger_Regiment Mi-8's are just about being replaced by Eurocopter "Nordic Helicopter" NH-90's.
