My guess would be a Mil Mi-17 Hip, and I think they're stationary at the moment due to the shadows on the ground and the lack of those blue "ghost" shadows that seem to accompany moving aircraft. Great find though! Check out all the gliders too! (Edit)After further investigation, these appear to be Mi-8's. (Edit)

Not sure to me if they are flying - if so they are very low to the ground. And I think they are more closer to looking like the MI-17"Hip" than the Hind. With the Hind, you should see some outboard "wings" and the shadows don't reveal that. However, it is not as clear a shot so I am just guessing.
Don't know why Hips would be in Finland - I have heard they can be used for forest firefighting in some countries, but not sure about Finland??

The Finnish Army uses mi-8's according to wikipedia. I guess it would make sense to buy stuff from your neighbours.

Ahh, I stand corrected. I believe you are right that these are the MI-8 Hip rather than the MI-17 Hip.

They are Mi-8's on exercise at Hyvink small planes airfield. They are Not airborne. Their home base is Utti Jaeger Regiment, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Utti_Jaeger_RegimentMi-8's are just about being replaced by Eurocopter "Nordic Helicopter" NH-90's.
