Another sobering post, and hopefully a way of attracting more attention to these facts and to Reporters without Borders. Thank you for taking the time to share this with us.

The predators of press freedom
For the past six years Reporters Without Borders has exposed the worlds predators of press freedom men and women who directly attack journalists or order others to. Most are top-level politicians (including presidents, prime ministers and kings) but they also include militia chiefs, leaders of armed groups and drug-traffickers. They usually answer to no-one for their serious attacks on freedom of expression. Failure to punish them is one of the greatest threats to the media today. In 2007 the presidents of Laos and Azerbaijan joined the list of these major enemies of press freedom, along with Mexican drug cartels that killed several journalists. The king of Nepal and the countrys Maoist leaders were taken off the list after the ceasefire between the two sides and a return to peace.

I have been a member of many forums, but I have never come across a forum that is connected to a well reputed imaging service, that allows anyone to write any Bull they think fit and attach it to the satellite image of a country. I am referring to what is written over Pakistan presidency I find it extremely offensive that Musharraf the predator is written on the presidency.
If this is allowed then many people in Pakistan think Bush is the biggest terrorist on earth, he has already directly or indirectly killed 600, 000 people, Can I put a mark on the white house saying Worlds Most Wanted Terrorist Lives Here. Or for that matter can I put a mark on the Indian parliament house saying Worlds most hypocrite secular nation If I cant do these two things than I immediately want this mark removed from our presidency.
BTW I belong to the Pakistani media, and I think the media has never been as free as it is now.

Misinformation is the mother of all disasters, misinformation about Iraq cost thousands their lives. President Musharraf does not live in the presidency rather he lives in his army house in Rawalpindi.
Please correct this place mark. Thanks.

03/01/2008 00:25 (GMT-5) Predator becomes prey
