Have there been any talks at all about this going public, or being available to more than the select few?
Ive been dying to see GMars since I first registered back in september.
Cmon you can handle 1 more person. GIMME SOME OF DAT RED STUFF!

Dammit i wanna see Mars!!! And what the hell is this keyhole program anyway, is it the predecesor of Google Earth? Can i still get it somewhere?

Yes, Keyhole is the predecesor of Google Earth. Here is a screenshot of the old Keyhole product:



Many of the same tools are still used in the Google Earth software (of course, with many new tools and features)!

Theres lots of the image data at msss.com, and most if not all their images are geocoded. so can we have a martian database.. please?

You just need to uncheck the "Mars" overlay in your Temporary Places folder on the left column. Enjoy!
