The LTTE's large airstrip at Iranamadu in Sri Lanka has been much talked about. It's not the only LTTE airstrip. There is a smaller one in the same local.

Note that Google Earth imagery for Sri Lanka seems to be dated from around 2003-2005. Not sure how uniform this is.
