I finally finished creating the overlay image of Real-Time Freeway Traffic in Los Angeles. This is my first Dynamic Data Layer I'ver ever created. The Real-Time Traffic SIGAlert is Updated every minute. Enjoy!
Real-Time Freeway Traffic is provided by SIG Alert

UPDATE: I've changed the URL for the Key Legend and now display correctly.

Great use of real-time data! I am just curious how you created the legend that doesn't go away as you pan around. Is it an image overlay? I tried that, but my image locked itself to the ground.

Any pointers would be much appreciated!

thanks!

lindsayb,

That is called a <ScreenOverlay>. Valery35 has posted some examples here.

The documentation is here.

Hope this helps.

This would be much better if the overlays didn't have a solid white background! Is it possible to get rid of that? I know about the opacity slider but it also makes the useful data translucent...

can anyone give me the exact "mms://ip:port/exten" of the stream? I use linux, and from what I can tell, the method of delivery has changed to .asx. I cannot seem to get a hold of the direct mms address through this new method, though it still seems to use the same format. Now, I get an mms address that contains incorrect syntax.
