Why, when you click on the index for a group or thread, does it take you to the first post with no way to jump to the last (most recent)? I do not understand why the page number listing does not have a "last" button which would send you to the most recent page .

Probably because the software developer never considered that a thread could end up with around 5,560 posts.

Here is the link to the last page of the old thread: http://bbs.keyhole.com/ubb/showflat.php/Cat/0/Number/992512/page/0/fpart/556/vc/1

Do you have your display preferences set to "expanded" or "collapsed" topics? And have you chosen "flat" or "threaded" mode? If "collapsed" you should see something like this

You can click on any of the links outlined in red to go the last page (the exact number of the page will depend on how many posts per page you have selected in your preferences). You can access the preferences through your "My home" page.

If viewing in flat mode you can see and edit the number of the page in the url:

Page 10: bbs.keyhole.com/ubb/showflat.php/Cat/0/Number/992512/page/vc/fpart/10/vc/1
Page 200: bbs.keyhole.com/ubb/showflat.php/Cat/0/Number/992512/page/vc/fpart/200/vc/1

Hope this helps.

I just moved it to Archives where the information will still be accessible (read only).

Why, when you click on the index for a group or thread, does it take you to the first post with no way to jump to the last (most recent)? I do not understand why the page number listing does not have a "last" button which would send you to the most recent page . Then one wouldn't need to download the whole damn thread just to get to the most recent post. Surely I have missed(again), the easier way; what is that easier way?

I always open this thread from the shortcut in "My Favorites," and whenever I close out the thread, I click "My Favorites" to add the shortcut again which, of course, it tells me it is already there and asks if I want to overwrite the previous shortcut. Click "yes" and then it always opens to the last page you were on.

hmmm as much as that was a shock to have the thread archived I have to admit for my purposes it is wonderful to have all these great links right here at the front of the thread.

Thanks so much for reposting them.

I'm glad to see you made it to our new hang out. How long do you think it will take us to get this thread to 500 pages as well?

I tried to send you a PM, letting you know about the move, but once again you have your PM turned off.

Another change you might like is that you can now access the 0909-10500 series of imagery via my KML generator. This should be a really big aid in reviewing older MTurk reports in DKF's Sanborn2.kml overlay and Violent Skies reports.
