Its true we have a lot of map servers, and some big 8 way database servers. High traffic internet GIS is not cheap! In order to handle the 5,000-10,000 map requests an hour that we do with PortlandMaps, we need a lot of parallel hardware to even get decent performance. Maybe Google Earth can help change that some.

We are almost done with the live polygon/line export stuff, stay tuned!
