I am sorry I sounded a huge loud person, pontificating about the meaning of Baba.

I have had the great fortune of meeting two living saints, Baba Muktananda and Anandamai Mai, the latter a lady, and both now dead in the 1990s. What struck me as most unusual is that both, in very close meetings, give an impression they are just not in this world, and yet give out affection and love to the person in their presence. And an inexplicable calm settles over you in their presence.

Besides, they have somehow developed mind reading and levels of consciousness we cant understand, and I have personally experienced this.
I was going through a bad patch in my life during the few years I was in close touch with Baba Muktananda; I had a relationship that even before really taking off, had the girl asking me for some jewellery on a loan basis.
I fell in the trap and willingly gave her some very good pieces on loan, after which she plainly refused to return these. I sweated over this,trying to find some way of getting these rare pieces back and prayed to Baba Muktananda in my mind.
My very good neighbour, a very senior member of this girl's community, volunteered to go to her house and demand the jewelly back ........and it worked. In India there is a strong respect for senior members.

However, when I next went to meet Baba Muktananda, he looked straight at me with a twinkle in his eyes, and said "well, you have got out of a very delicate situation, you have got your things back........but please be careful in the future." This left me speechless!!!

I have strayed far, very far, from the main subject............but I felt the urge to let you and GEC members who read this thread get some idea of this phenomena that one can still, hopefully, experience in India...................and never mind about the future of GEC............everything takes care of itself.
