I know just what you mean about the timber. I've noticed the incredible variation in logging styles around the globe - from spider-like patterns in the Amazon (with camp or loading area in the middle) to a flame pattern I saw in Siberia (on a river, with "headquarters" on shore and cuts traveling up from there). In Europe and the US there are many checkerboard or polka-dot styles. Hmmm...let's get busy on those canvases, shall we? Seems like we could put a show together, if only here on this thread!
