I used to decorate my walls with satellite photo posters back in the 1980s. They were glossy and beautiful and inspiring to look at. Of course artists have been drawn to these images ever since they came about. The point is with Google Earth you can sit in your own home and spin the globe underneath you and travel wherever you want in the world. You can zoom in and out quickly and arrive at compositions. This program is an obvious tool for an artist to use.
