I replied to some of your other posts, but somehow passed over this one. I've seen both great BBC series "Planet Earth" and "The Power of the Planet". For me "The Power of the Planet" has been a great inspiration. The 5 part series is about how the planet works as one huge living system. With the same breath-taking camera shots as the Planet Earth series. That's where I got the idea for my "Angry Tundra" painting.

p.s. I published a new painting on my weblog a few days ago. It's a piece of clear-cut Amazon forest, now used for farming soybeans (for our hamburgers). It's not much different from a lot of other agricultural land as seen from Google Earth. The drama is in the story behind it. I hope I got some of the drama across in the act of painting it.......
