You on dialup or broadband? Each single overlay image is upwards of a meg & a half. And I imagine that NOAA's server is getting alot of traffic right now. So it could take a bit to actually pull the overlay pic down from the NOAA site.

This is the reason why I've gone to the extra little bit of hassle of downloading them myself and including them in the KMZ files.
