Baker is a tiny town in the middle of the desert on the main road between Los Angeles and Las Vegas, where the heat gets up to 120+ degrees. Also, in case you do not think it is hot enough in Baker you can take the road out to Death Vally. Baker is called the gateway to Death Valley. If you want to go to Death Valley in August...well it is called Death Valley for a reason.

Sorry it is not Hi-Res but the population is about 1,400 and the next city of any size is Las Vegas, NV. about 75 miles away.
