thanks for this informative compilation. The north warning system is formidable and represents a significant investment of human intellect and energy. It was singularly responsible for the exploration of the land and waterways in the north, and was and remains a bold expression of sovereignty by Canada, and very strong allied relations with the United States. We have a lot to relearn from this experience as the ice regime changes and the exploitation of the arctic resumes in a new manner.
Days after 9/11 I flew the north for a week and made a few passes over Cape Dyer and shot the following images. The photo attached and the one at
