Al Jolson passed away on October 23, 1950. He is best known for starring in the first talking motion picture, "The Jazz Singer" in 1927.

It's hard NOT to find Al Jolson final resting place, it's visible from the San Diego freeway. It consists of white canopy with water fall in front of it. Al Jolson's tomb is beneath the canopy. On the back left side is a bronze statue of Al Jolson on one knee.
