Here's a google earth track for North Carolina's "Mountains to Sea Trail"

This is a ROUGH track, it's accuracy is fairly poor, and it's not suitable for navigation in the wild. However, it should be useful if you are looking for a general idea of where the trail goes.

The vast majority of the track was created by tracing roads in google earth, and by tracing existing trails which are visible on USGS topo quads. For example, all of the MST in the smoking is already visible on the TOPO quads. In some areas the trail was traced based on geological features, like the shore line, streams and peaks that the trail goes over. Unfortunately, in some places there aren't many features to go by so I simply approximated where I believed the trail went. For example there is a lot of trail which roughly follows the Blue Ridge Parkway that doesn't show up on maps, for most of this I just show the trail as being on the road.

If someone has superior data that they want to add, jest let me know and I'll update the track. And, if I get a chance I'll go out and collect the data myself.
