Hi,
I'd just like to throw in my .02 towards the report listed in GE called 1980-07sum ~10mi (referring back to
http://www.oregonbigfoot.com/report_detail.php?id=01339).
See icon data below.
My family has been going up into this area for the better part of 60 years. As a matter of fact, the Google Earth "i" icon that links back to this report is down the hill from our cabin up there.
Over that extended period of time, and across the experiences of many, my family has never seen or heard anything that resembles a bigfoot, or remnants of one, to my knowledge.
I also find it questionable that one individual would run into so many "sightings", according to the linked report.
I don't want the residents and guests of the cabin owners to get the wrong idea about the area or be fearful for no reason. Surely, some of the bikers and questionable characters that camp up there sometimes should be considered more of a threat than an unverified mystical creature. Also, bears and mountain lions, which we have encountered.
Also, the description in the story is one of camping, and the icon is located on a cabin property, which doesn't match.
If you're trying to just generically locate the story, might you at least move the icon to the top of Devil's Head, which has a campground and is sort of the main camping area?
Thank you!
