First I would like to congratulate Mr. Putt and the community the amazing work that has been compiled to date. This is a wonderful product.

About six months ago I started working with Google Earth and happened across this data collection effort. As a young and avid hobbyist I was immediately hooked on this effort and Google earth in general.

I am a software programmer and my background includes databases, web programming and application programming.

I can confirm that there is no way to import Excel into Google Earth.

I would like to know if there is any interest in automating the airfield aggregation and submission process. Automation could cut down on the efforts to maintain the Excel file by hand and simplify the conversion to Google KML.

I would love to participate in this effort to better the entire RC community.
