Hello - Sorry I haven't seen your post till tonight. An RV park next to an RC field I would think would be a welcome addition. We just had our annual Fly-in last weekend and we usally start getting motor homes and trailers in starting on the Monday or Tuesday before the weekend of the event. These guys are for the most part retired, while others are on vacation. We happen to have ample space at our field for them to park but no power or sewer. They all live at the field and fly all week while we locals have to toil at work and wait for Friday to show up

I don't know if it will let me but I will try to add a picture from up on a little hill above the field to give you an idea.

The only difference between here and out in NC is I'm not sure how far the guys are driving to fly and attend the fly ins. I lived in Ohio for about 6 years and flew there and we may have had 2 to 3 guys show up with camp trailers but that was about it. Out here we measure distance to travel normally in hours and so once you get there you don't normally want to just turn around and go home. We drove from Sheridan WY to Ft Collins CO a couple of weekends ago for "Warbirds Over the Rockies" About a 6 hour trip, but we don't mind because it's normally at least 2 hours in any direction to get any where else

I guess my suggestion would be to talk to some of the members, and ask if maybe you can attend one of their monthly club meetings and just discuss it.
Good Luck and I Hope It Works Out For You
