Greetings Holly,
Nice posts, but I do have a slight 'bone to pick' with you. You posted an "i" north of the Medicine
Wheel (next to mine) and commented that it was a sacred site for local native Americans.
I was wondering what tribes deemed this as 'scared' and what your source was, was it peer-reviewed?
I think if you will check into this statement, you will find that when Europeans found the site and asked the
native Americans about it, they knew nothing at all about the wheel. It had been 'lost in time' to them.
It's only been recently, with the advent of the 'New Age' cultists that this site has gained popularity.
Another fellow that posted the claim, at the site itself, said that the Navajos, saw it as sacred. The Navajos
live in Arizona/Utah/N. Mexico area 800 miles away. Nowhere near the area.
Think cosmic !!
