It doesn't say 'broadband only' what it says is "Google Earth is a broadband, 3D application that not all computers can run."

You can run GE on a 300 baud modem (remember those? I paid over $500 for my first Hayes 300 in 1983) if you want, but only a masochist would use it on anything but real broadband...
