My experience with Google Earth betas has been that when it first opens, it is always in windowed mode. I then maximize it. Then I hit F11 to go full-window. Then I hit F11 again. Instead of going back to maximized, GE goes to Windowed. It is very consistent in this behaviour. I've posted msgs on this back when I first encountered it, but it is still the same. It's a very small complaint so I've pretty much ignored it of late.

I have noticed no such problems with GE (0616). If it's in windowed mode and I hit full, then it does that. If I hit F11 it goes to full screen. If I shut GE down while in windowed mode, it runs next time in that mode. If I shut it down in full mode, it runs next time in that mode. I just don't understand why some people are having problems. I suspect it's graphics card related or something like that.
